Friday Play Group

Hey Everyone!

This is a reminder that we are having a special Halloween playgroup tomorrow, Friday 28th @ 10 am at Summerhill park. The address is 648 Granada Pass Drive. Kelli Davis will be hosting the playgroup.

Please pack your own lunch and bring a pumpkin for your little one to paint. Kelli will supply the paints and glitter. She has planned a couple of games for the kids as well as treats.

The Sacramento Cannery has the following available for sale on a first come basis:

Tomato Juice 12  --  28 oz cans $12.12 a case
Black Beans 24  --  14.5 oz cans $19.20  a case
Diced tomatoes 24 -- 14.5 oz each $25.92 a case

Volunteer at the Martha Riley Library

The Library is looking for a volunteer to help with Story time on Tues. mornings and Playgroup on Thursday mornings at the Martha Riley Library, 1501 Pleasant Grove Blvd. 

Tues. Storytime: Volunteer needed from 9am-11am.  Would need to help with set up (moving tables, chairs, etc.) registering children, making nametags, helping hand out different items to children during the storytime such as scarves, bells, etc., and then collecting them again.  Helping with clean-up afterwards.  There are two story time sessions, with about 80 adults and children attending each session.

Thurs. Playgroup: 10am-11am.  Help with set-up and help with an easy craft.  Playgroup is a mother-child drop-in group where preschool children meet to play with toys, do an easy craft, and socialize.  Lots of fun active kids and their moms and grandparents attend.

We're looking for someone who loves kids, has patience and is reliable.  The children are accompanied by their parent/adult guardian at all times.  The volunteer would not be leading the story time or playgroup, just assisting the Librarian who leads the story time and playgroup.

Washer & Dryer for Free!

I have a well-used, washing machine and gas dryer for free to someone who
needs it. They do not match but both work well. I would like to have them

Card Making Night- Sep. 29th @ 7pm

Let's Create Personalized Greeting Cards!

Join us on Thursday, September 29th from 7-8:30pm at the church.  Lori deBernardi and Marlise Zuehlke will demonstrate a few styles of personalized greeting cards and we can spend the evening visiting and crafting!  Feel free to bring your own paper, glue dots, paper trimmers, or any embelishments you'd like to add to your cards.  We will have some paper, envelopes, and other supplies and tools to share.

Friday, Sep.,16th- Playgroup Change

We are going to have a change of location for playgroup this Friday the 16th.  Mischelle Von Rembow is hosting playgroup at her backyard this Friday at 10am!  We are going to swim in her pool and play on their play structure.  If you are going to attend please let Stephanie Scott know so she can give Mischelle a head count on who to expect.  Thanks!!

Roseville Stake Service Project-COAT DRIVE

In commemoration of the 75th anniversary of the Church Welfare plan, the First Presidency invites members worldwide to render service to the poor and needy. 
The Roseville Stake will be conducting a COAT DRIVE.  As winter approaches, there are many adults and children in our community without proper clothing to keep them warm. 

When: September 18th-25th

What: Coats, any size and any style.  New or gently used.  Something you would happily give to a friend.  No broken zippers, snaps or buttons.

Where: Please bring your coats to the church on either September 18th or September 25th.
